Behind the desk

Sivin Simon V is a music director and programmer from Kerala. For the last 15 years he has worked as a keyboardist, programmer and composer with numerous artists, playback singers and establishments in the industry.

As SIVIN — Music Machine he writes, produces and finishes records, from the first idea to the final master.

The feeling comes first. The details are how it survives the speakers.

The story behind the sound

From Kovalam to the Music Machine.

A musical upbringing. A fascination with the keyboard. A creative journey shaped by composition, collaboration and the details that bring music to life.

  1. 01A beginning in Kovalam

    Sivin Simon V was born into a musically inclined family in Kovalam, Kerala. His interest was sparked by his father, a keyboard player himself — and ever since, there’s been no looking back.

  2. 02Finding his own musical voice

    For the last 15 years Sivin has worked as a keyboardist, programmer and composer, alongside numerous artists, playback singers and establishments from the industry.

  3. 03Giving stories a soundtrack

    A versatile composer in his own right, Sivin has scored various short films. He is a frequent collaborator with Flowers Channel, composing jingles and background music for soap operas, reality shows and more.

  4. 04Creating with other voices

    What sets Sivin apart is that, despite being an accomplished artist, he promotes upcoming artists by working with them on their cover songs.

    His work with State Award winner Nithya Mammen and singers like Anamika P.S. is celebrated all over social media.

  5. 05Inside the Music Machine

    Today, Sivin brings these experiences together through Music Machine, working across composition, production, music programming, mixing and mastering.

    From the first musical thought to the final detail, the focus remains on finding the sound that belongs to each project.
